SREE MUCHILOT BHAGAVATHI
Sree Muchilot Bhagavathi, the source of all prosperity, the reservoir of
all knowledge and an immeasurable ocean of benevolence, reveals the
fact that there are various opinions related to her life. Some of her
devotees believe her to be the goddess bloomed from the sweat of Lord Shiva
shed at the time of his stupendous dance on the Mount Kailasa. Whereas
some others believe her to be a deity incarnated on the earth with a
"prasadam" to purgative the world of all kinds of incurable diseases, or a
goddess sent to earth in the form of flame to annihilate all the evils
on the earth.

VISHNUMOORTHY
VISHNUMOORTHY
An inevitable constituent in a majority of the Kaliyattams is the performance of the Vishnumoorthi Theyyam. And its performance includes complicated rites and rituals. The peculiar drum-beats can be heard up to a distance of 2 km from where the performance of the Vishnumoorthi Theyyam takes place. The enactment involving the Narasimha Avatar of Lord Vishnu by the Koladhari especially thrills the devotees and the spectators as a result of the body movements involved in it.

MY INDIA
There's a lot of religious discontent in the country. And fanatics try
time and again to ruin the peace. But thankfully they are unable to
change the DNA of this country which is one of embracing and celebrating
diversity. Where all communities can live in peace and friendship.
These images define the spirit of India, which no fanatic can ever
change!
